Sensata Technologies is looking for a demand planning specialist who will be responsible for the development and assessment of demand forecasts on designated product / program categories.In this position you will work with multiple internal departments as well as external vendors on countless analyses to determine the needed products and quantities for certain products / programs.General Responsibilities- Leads in the creation of future capacity plans- Responsible for any communication with marketing, manufacturing and customer service to ensure accuracy and efficiency of message- Leads in defining an integrated supply chain to produce sustained, timely performance on all accounts- Leads in the measuring and monitoring of specific product / program categories- Leads, establishes and monitor inventory models- Responsible for creating of a demand plan that will be used throughout the company in regards to supply planning- Responsible for in-depth analysis with large amounts of data to run various statistics and analyses on the company to help future predictability of demand planningExperience / Qualifications- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customersSmarterTogether- Collaborating at Sensata means working with some of the world's most talented people in an enriching environment that is constantly pushing towards the next best thing- Employees work across functions, countries and cultures gaining new perspectives through mutual respect and open communication- As OneSensata, we are working together to make things work togetherClick here to viewSensata Recruitment Privacy StatementClick here to view ourSensata Recruitment Privacy Statement for China
