OverviewWho We Are: Working together, growing together, creating new things together: EDAG connects people and the future.Company and workforce share the same vision.With a familiar atmosphere and at the same time the potential of a global world-class development company.You'll go your own way in your career at a high level – nationally and internationally.Take your next step and support us as a QUALITY PROJECT ENGINEER.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate the supplier's performance to meet the customer quality targetsWork along with suppliers to meet all needed activities and avoid deviationsReview supplier manufacturing processes and identify potential issuesPerform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and follow up / validation of actionsFollow up on the production floor to track the progress of the actions and their correct implementationDetect and promptly inform about potential risksGather information and ensure all documentation is uploaded into the corresponding platformsParticipate actively in regular meetings to provide status to top management and project reviewsQualificationsEducation in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and/or related5+ years of experience inside the industry with knowledge in production, quality and manufacturing processes4+ years as Technical expert on restraint systems (airbags) is a mustProject ManagementHigh skills / knowledge on Quality Core Tools (MSA, P-FMEA)Good knowledge of measurement techniques, GD&T, Gage R&RStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes evaluation and root cause analysis tools (8Ds / PDCA)Experience with product/process audits according to international standards (VDA, IATF***** and/or ISO ****)Good knowledge of quality processes and quality toolsCertified Quality auditor under ISO ***** or VDA 6.3 (desirable)Handling of KPIs and reportingGather of technical information, lessons learnt, concepts and customer requirementsKnowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (lean manufacturingSAP (desirable)Availability to travel inside MexicoFluent EnglishPosition for 3 months#J-*****-Ljbffr
