In 2022, Continental generated sales of €39.4 billion and currently employs around 200,000 people in 57 countries and markets.Job DescriptionManage and coordinates the introduction of new lines and new products including all the industrialization process, material approvals and complete validations.Translate business requirements into tangible impacts on plant and assess plant readiness..Creates and update product&process-specific production specifications, flow charts, PFEMA and work instructions according to standards.Plan and implement investments for project&product-specific tooling and devices.Perform product&process-specific testing, start up of pre production and SOP readiness.Support product&process-specific customer releases (PPAP) and prepare initial sample and capability test reports.Reports project industrialization status to PPI Coordinator and escalates issues when necessary.Represent operations during project days and projects escalations, advocating for operations interests.Monitors and improve process main Outputs such as : Scrap, FPY, takt time, process capacity, process capability, etc.Drive Problem solving to improve and correct abnormalities related to process and product.Drive continuos Improvement in to productive process activities using the CBS methodologiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent qualificationMinimum of 3 years' experience in manufacturing environmentsAdvanced proficiency in English (C1 level, both written and spoken) - Interviews will be conducted in EnglishPrevious experience as project leader or program management function.Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.Comprehensive knowledge of Core Tools (SPC, MSA, PFMEA, CP, APQP, PPAP)Extensive experience with production technologies, specifically in rubber, extrusion, and plastic molding is highly desirable.Demonstrated expertise in GD&T and measurement techniquesProven track record in Lean Manufacturing principlesAdvanced problem-solving skills with a focus on manufacturing processesStrong project management capabilitiesSuperior analytical abilitiesAdvanced statistical knowledgeProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with particular emphasis on Excel and ProjectDemonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teamsExcellent communication and presentation skillsWillingness to travel as required for project implementationDesirable QualificationsExpertise in PLC proceduresProficiency in continuous improvement methodologiesPrevious experience in PPI, Quality, New Product Development, or Change ManagementProficiency in Minitab softwareExperience in APQP & PLC Tool utilisationAdditional InformationAt Continental we are committed to building an inclusive and discrimination-free ecosystem in Mexico, these principles are rooted in our corporate philosophy and culture.
