The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. This leadership role is accountable for driving operational excellence, aligning manufacturing processes with strategic objectives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and employee engagement. The Plant Manager will lead cross-functional collaboration with departments such as HR, Engineering, and Purchasing, while ensuring full compliance with Mexican labor and environmental regulations. This position requires a proactive leader with strong strategic planning skills, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to effectively manage production demands, optimize resources, and integrate the facility within the local community for sustainable growth. Key Responsibilies: Oversee daily plant operations to ensure seamless, efficient production while minimizing downtime. Lead daily production meetings and respond proactively to changes in schedules or manufacturing plans. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including On-Time Delivery, labor productivity, output, and backlog. Collaborate with HR to manage staffing levels, resource allocation, and cross-training initiatives. Ensure optimal use of plant assets and equipment to drive productivity and reduce waste. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement Implement manufacturing best practices and lead necessary changes to processes and equipment. Develop and execute strategies to enhance product quality, employee safety, and workforce engagement. Champion Lean, 6S, and other continuous improvement methodologies to optimize performance. Promote the Quality Management System and support quality and engineering teams in introducing new product lines and process improvements. Align production schedules with customer demand and sales forecasts. Analyze operational costs and adjust strategies to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction. Develop and manage operational budgets to meet financial targets. Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product quality and safety. Requirements: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive performance across all levels. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, engage, and collaborate across departments. Proven success in developing a culture of safety, accountability, and mutual respect. High integrity and the ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion. Experience with ERP systems (preferably EPICOR), continuous improvement methodologies, and strategic planning. #J-18808-Ljbffr
