Schedule: 9AM - 5PM Pacific Standard TimeThe Content Copy Writer II works under general supervision and follows company and department policies and procedures to write persuasive, engaging, high-converting content for Amazon Product Detail Pages (PDPs), Brand Stores, and ad placements.Primary ResponsibilitiesThrough the use of company and department practices and procedures, crafts content that captivates, informs and persuades.Includes SEO-rich titles, bullet points, product descriptions, and brand copyPartners with Data Analytics and Market Insights teams to identify top keywords and implement SEO best practices for optimized contentAligns content with the brand’s voice, tone, and messaging while considering Amazon’s content constraintsCollaborates with Brand Managers, Content Managers, Graphic Designers, and other team members to manage project status, assignments, content updates, and resolve challengesUtilizes Asana for content requests, task management, and project oversight, ensuring clear timelines and quality controlAudits and updates product listings to ensure accuracy and optimization, including product titles, bullet points, descriptions, pricing, and keywordsStay up-to-date with Amazon’s ranking algorithms, keyword optimization techniques, and content compliance guidelinesStays informed on Amazon policies, including Seller Central, Vendor Central, Style Guides, Category Specifics, and Amazon’s Legal and Compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to platform standards for best performanceDiscusses inconsistencies and recommends solutions with the manager to ensure alignment with client and company requirementsMaintains or exceeds department-established performance standardsContinues to learn and apply department Trainual subjects according to standardsOther duties as assignedQualificationsTwo to three (2-3) years of experience in copywritingStrong working knowledge of persuasive writing with expertise in crafting engaging, SEO-driven content that resonates with Amazon shoppers and drives salesDemonstrates a strong understanding of department practices, procedures, and specialized functions.
