**Associate Director - Operational Excellence, Global Supply Chain & Strategy****Positions are open to Mexican Citizens and official residents of Mexico.****Location: Guadalajara (hybrid)****Strong English communication skills required.**:**Introduction to role**:Are you ready to break new ground?Join us at AstraZeneca.Our Global Supply Chain and Strategy (GSC&S) team leads the design, development, planning, and governance of AstraZeneca's supply chains.We ensure the most efficient and effective ways of getting life-changing medicines to patients.This is your chance to play a pivotal role in evolving our Supply Chain, reimagining how we do things, and crafting a collective legacy.**Accountabilities**:**Essential Skills/Experience**:- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, related field, or equivalent experience- 12+ yr.validated experience in two or more of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Lab Operations, Sourcing or related function- Ability to get along with all levels of the business, project management skills (demonstrated experience in leading large teams), solid eye for business, confirmed team building skills, especially good listening skills, results oriented, strong analytical skills, and prior process improvement experience.**Desirable Skills/Experience**:- Certified Lean Leader or equivalent- Six Sigma Black Belt- When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we ignite daring thinking with the power to encourage life-changing medicines.In-person working give us the platform we need to connect, work at pace and challenge perceptions.That's why we work, on average, a minimum of three days per week from the office.But that doesn't mean we're not flexible.We balance the expectation of being in the office while respecting individual flexibility.Join us in our outstanding and ambitious world._
