**What will you do?**- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure material specifications meet design requirements.- Conduct materials testing and analysis to validate performance and compliance with industry standards.- Develop and maintain documentation related to materials selection, testing, and compliance.- Provide technical support for sourcing and procurement of materials, working alongside suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.**How will you do it?**- Utilize advanced materials characterization techniques and software tools to analyze and select appropriate materials.- Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to troubleshoot material-related issues and implement improvements.- Conduct research on new materials and technologies to support innovation and sustainability initiatives.- Prepare and present findings on material performance, compliance, and recommendations to stakeholders.- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations in all materials handling and usage processes.**What are we looking for?**- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.- Minimum of 3 years of experience in materials engineering, preferably in the manufacturing sector.- Strong knowledge of materials testing standards and protocols, as well as relevant industry regulations.- Proficient in CAD software and materials characterization tools.- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Spanish.
