Provide leadership, expertise and support at the section level for the full implementation of math standards, assessment and accountability in the grade levels assigned. Provide ongoing, job‑embedded training and support for other teachers in the section to build their capacity and effectiveness as math teachers. Education and Certification Requirements Bachelor’s Degree approved by SEP or UNAM (with Cédula Profesional). Qualifications and Experience Required Two years of previous teaching experience. Experience in PYP, MYP, and IB Diploma or Experience in AP. Experience in Advising (or Counseling/Mentoring). Bilingual (Spanish and English). Experience in other international and/or bilingual schools. Computer knowledge and the ability to integrate technology into daily teaching Duties and Responsibilities Research innovations and new pedagogical discoveries in curriculum and methodology to foster professional development for teachers. Organize all materials to support the math program. Keep the inventory of math materials in each classroom updated to ensure they are available to teachers. Consult and plan with grade level teams regularly. Maintain clear communication between the Head of Middle School, Deans, and other area and grade level coordinators. Collaborate with teachers consistently to review grade expectations and the publication of math achievement results for each level. Work with teachers consistently to modify assessment and rubrics. Gather and analyze math assessment options and report findings to guide educational practice. Identify ways to improve the quality and effectiveness of programs to provide program enrichment and remedial support resources. Design and observe procedures for the collection, analysis, and communication of diagnostic student results in support programs to evaluate their effectiveness. Liaise with classroom teachers and parents to collaboratively develop voluntary support systems. Support teachers in the use of data to influence instruction. Support teachers with the use of materials, books, and assessment instruments. #J-18808-Ljbffr
