Associate Product Development Engineer (Job Number: ******)Kautex is a global company with over 30 plants in 13 countries.As a Tier One automotive supplier, we navigate and accelerate throughout the automotive industry with ideas being put into motion by those who are driving the future.A pioneer in the design and manufacturing of plastic fuel systems for light vehicles - including hybrid vehicle applications - Kautex is expanding our portfolio to offer smart products.From battery systems for use in hybrid and full battery electric vehicle applications to autonomous vehicle cleaning systems, Kautex is committed to pioneering solutions for the era of new mobility.We also know that sustainability is not just a word for us – because our planet isn't better unless we can be better.We offer an international, family-friendly, and diverse work environment in which you can help shape the mobility of tomorrow, with some positions offering flexibility in some remote work.Additionally, we have great career development opportunities in the field of new mobility with interesting and challenging projects, as well as various personal and professional trainings.ResponsibilitiesDevelop customer product from first system concept through quote, prototyping, validation and towards a fully released product in mass productionEnsure proactive requirements and risk management for all technical aspectsEnsure that customer specifications as well as cost targets, design-to-manufacture and timing goals are metKnowledge about and compliance to the customer specific requirementsSeek for and achieve customers' buy-in to utilize standardized development and validation testing, if and where useful and applicableAct as technical liaison between product development teams and the customer and all other internal functions like design, manufacturing and industrializationSupervise product testing including handling of hazardous substances, interpretation of test results, introduction of the necessary actions and modifications as required to ensure that all requirements are metSupport flawless launches by planning and controlling all technical issues related to assigned project and support the Program Manager in delivering highest quality solutions to our customersProvide product engineering expertise in a professional manner during customer visits and audits, with the team as well as in collaboration with other departments (e.g. manufacturing)Act as a Technical Project Lead Engineer with responsibility for a technical team in small/medium complex projectsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable educationBlow molding or injection molding product design knowledge including welding and assembly is a strong plus#J-*****-Ljbffr
