**The Role**:**Proposition**MX T&S Distribution Operations is accountable for execution of all main fuel's movements in support of T&S Products, BD & businesses chain value (i.e. Retail, Aviation, etc.).In terms of product slate, this includes both domestic and int'l grades of gasolines, distillates or any related product.The T&S Operations analyst is responsible for analyzing and maintain supply chain processes to design efficient, money-saving solutions for every step of the chain.In that sense, the T&S Ops analyst collect data, analyze the supply chain, monitor trends (orders, shipments, volumes, etc.), assist the T&S Ops organization, create decision-making reports and make suggestions to optimize the entire supply chain in a dynamic and constantly changing environment of operations.This position is also responsible for generating Road Transportation cost information, reporting to Finance and issuing pre-payment reports to the haulers, enabling and reviewing correct hauler invoicing and payments.**What is the role?**- Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects.- Discover the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedules.- Help foster trusting relationships with vendors and team members.- Evaluate vendor operations (e.g. haulers, OSP's, etc.) according to Shell optimization plans.- Collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective systems.- Track KPIs and report on T&S Ops performance.Prepare decision-making reports on T&S Ops performance metrics.- Support and continuous alignment between Shell optimization plans aligned with Shell HSSE and RT HSSE initiatives.- Maintain T&S Ops info in appropriate databases.Enter logistics-related data into databases.- Interpret data on logistics elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing or distribution, supplier management, or transportation.- Provide ongoing analyses in areas such as transportation costs, parts procurement, back orders, or delivery processes.Analyze logistics processes & recommend improvements to existing or planned processes.- Develop or maintain payment systems to ensure accuracy of vendor payments.- Generate and report Road Transport costs as required by Finance.- Confer within the T&S Ops teams to determine ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency and minimize cost.- Remotely monitor the flow of vehicles, volumes, etc., using web-based information systems to track performance.Develop or maintain models for T&S Ops uses, such as RT cost estimating.- Monitor industry standards, trends, or practices to identify developments in logistics planning or execution.Analyze industry trends.- Compare locations or environmental policies of carriers or suppliers to make transportation decisions with lower environmental impact.**Requirements/Competences**- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field.- Bilingual: Spanish - English- Exposure to supply chain processes.- Proven attention to detail and problems solving skills.- Proven knowledge in data mining, analysis and reporting- Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases and ERP systems (e.g. SAP).- Significant Analytical thinking & quick learning skills.- Significant computer & good communications skills.**Additional Information**- Must be highly motivated and possess strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills in order to recognize and solve problems quickly.**Time Type**- Fulltime job- Travel is not required**Disclaimer
