Senior Director, Software Engineering

OverviewCapital One is seeking an experienced software engineering leader, Senior Director, Software Engineering, to help us build and grow our Technology Site in Mexico City. Based in Mexico City, the Senior Director of Software Engineering will be responsible for building and leading a team of software engineers who focus on software delivery experience tools to make life easier for engineers to engineer; who focus on cloud governance for compliance, risk reduction, automation and drive standardization towards cloud native architectures; who focus on well managed experiences to empower leaders and application teams to have great visibility and control of their well-managed activities.As a Senior Director of Software Engineering, you will be responsible for working with senior Technology and Business Executives, understanding their Vision and translating it into Execution Strategy. You will be guiding software engineering teams that are responsible for the design and delivery of high quality software for critical business features, built on AWS to the latest technology standards. You will collaborate with Architecture, Card Product, Card Technology and Enterprise stakeholders to drive this critical project forward. You will provide Technology thought leadership and help raise the talent bar by recruiting and hiring top engineering talent.
