**What's the role?**:The Business Analyst II role is part of Data Engineering and Operations (DE&O).The individual in this role will be part of the BPAI (Business Planning Analytics and Insights) Partner team with a focused sub-role related to Central Planning.As BPAI Partner, the individual in this role will make a valued contribution in domains of Resource Planning, Governance, and Change management support; providing support with business analytics, modeling/scenario planning, forecasting, visualizations and reporting that will drive effective decision making and facilitate increased efficiency.**Who are you?**:**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**The Business Analyst will work with stakeholders internal and external to DE&O.Key responsibilities include:- Business Partner and/or Central Planning AMER time-zone coverage- Central Planning Change management support- Identify data sources, gather/extract data (qualitative and quantitative) and use structured frameworks to answer business operations questions- Define analytical objectives, requirements, and plans- Develop dynamic models to support multivariate analyses, enable scenario-based excursions, identify drivers, assess sensitivities; maintain model transparency through effective documentation (sources, assumptions, logic, limitations)Utilize decision analytic tools such as multivariate analysis, probabilistic forecasting with sensitivity assessments (e.g. Monte Carlo simulation) to inform and expedite decisions- Provide model transparency through effective documentation (sources, assumptions, logic and limitations)- Identify trends and patterns in data sets- Present credible findings and recommendations, with an emphasis on getting from the "what" to the "so-what"- Prepare executive ready presentations on findings and recommendations- Monitor critical measures and variables to alert the business to any risks- Focus on continual improvement of planning/analytic processes with focus on speed and agility- Collaborate with our data visualizations team to distill complex topics using appropriate data presentation- Identify and disseminate best practices in modeling and analytics**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration or equivalent experience required- 2-4 years, including relevant operations experience- Advanced knowledge in planning/reporting, business intelligence, and relational database tools (e.g., Jira, Clarity, Hyperion)- Ability to manage a large volume of data to develop analysis and modelsSuperior analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to manage the details while keeping the broader picture in-mind- Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects/assignments- Ability to facilitate cross-functional meetings/working sessions- Excellent oral/ written communication and presentation skills required- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills- International business experience- Understand Agile Principles- Consulting experience preferred but not required- Product Owner experience preferred but not required- English fluency required- Domestic and International travel (up to 20%) requiredHERE is an equal opportunity employer.We evaluate qualified applicants without regard to race, color, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, parental status, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, and other legally protected characteristics.**Who are we?**:HERE Technologies is a location data and technology platform company.We empower our customers to achieve better outcomes - from helping a city manage its infrastructure or a business optimize its assets to guiding drivers to their destination safely.At HERE we take it upon ourselves to be the change we wish to see.We create solutions that fuel innovation, provide opportunity and foster inclusion to improve people's lives.If you are inspired by an open world and driven to create positive change, join us.Learn more about us.Watch Video
