New Business Manager

**Summary**Responsible for generating new business opportunities withing the region and channels assigned.Meeting established sales plan objectives through the development and execution of product sales programs**.**Serves as the primary contact for specific customers as assigned by HDLA General Manager.Execute the Sales Plan for specific customers to achieve company's goals.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following.Other duties may be assigned.- Identify new areas of growth through thorough research such as new business model opportunities within Mexico, Central America and other countries within the region assigned; not limited to existing channels of distribution, wholesalers, Ecommerce and Direct to Consumer.- Achieve increased sales and market share through customer knowledge and maintaining a close working relationship with specific retail customers.- Develop and deliver presentations to customers for line review and business reviews.- In conjunction with the HDLA General Manager as well as other sales, assembly and marketing teams, formulate and execute strategic business plan, which among other things, will identify areas of targeted growth and expansion potential.- Develop and maintain a strategic plan for all key accounts and countries that include specific product and pricing strategies unique to that.- Develop sales forecast, promotional spending plan and competitive product analysis; maintain thorough knowledge of products, as well as competitive products, prices and sales programs.Maximize profitability by preparing product pricing and promotional programs that maximize profitable sales.- Enhance customer relationship through excellent customer service and problem resolution techniques.- Assist on the implementation of logistics solutions when suppling form the multiple DC's and countries such as China, United States or Mexico for customer service.**Supervisory Responsibilities**This job has no supervisory responsibilities.(In time it may need to supervise a Junior Salesman or Territory Reps)**Competencies**No competency or factor selected.**Education and/or Experience**High School Graduate - a preferred Bachelor's Degree in sales or business administration.Minimum of three to five years of key account experience in a consumer products industry.Previous sales experience - mass market and/or regional accounts.Bicycle industry or consumer product experience preferred.Microsoft Office experience required with strong Word and Excel skills.This position may require approximately 25% of domestic travel and approximately 25% of international travel.Must be able to obtain a valid passport.Bring a Passion for Cycling and the Outdoors
