Syntax has offices worldwide, and partners with Oracle, SAP, AWS, Microsoft, IBM and other global technology leaders.We currently have a vacancy for a SAP BI & Analytics Lead ArchitectProviding input and guidance on proposing, evaluating, and selecting appropriate design alternatives which meet requirements and are consistent with our current standards and processesParticipating and leading in business requirements and design review sessionsDesigning, as well as providing consulting and oversight for the design of data model solutionsExtracting, transforming and loading data into SAP DatasphereDeveloping, testing, debugging Datasphere data loads and reporting solutionsCapturing and migrating transports across development and testing landscapes to productionDeveloping documentation including but not limited to test scripts, health checks, etc.Mentoring and transferring knowledge to less experienced team membersLead and mentor the team by providing guidance, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the successful delivery of data solutions while managing team performance and professional developmentCollaborate with business stakeholders during workshops to gather requirements and translate them into clear, detailed, and actionable functional specifications to guide the development processAssist with developing estimates and describing solutions during the proposal processExperience with root cause analysis in the context of production support responsibilitiesExperienceMinimum 7 years’ experience developing Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytical Solutions5+ years’ experience utilizing SAP BW, Datasphere and SAP Analysis for office to implement complex analytical solutions which may access data from multiple sourcesExperience creating extract/transform/load processes from data sources including SAP S/4, SAP BW, MS SQL Server as well as other data sourcesExperience in project including S/4HANA with Datasphere/SAC landscapeSolid experience developing complex data modelsDeep knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Analytics Cloud PlanningDevelopment/Testing/ProcessesExtract, transform and load data from multiple data sources into SAP DatasphereDesign, build, test and debug Data Warehousing solutions based upon specified requirementsGood understanding of implementation standardsUnderstanding of best practices for deployment processTune data loads and reporting for efficient performanceSkillsDeveloping effective Multi-dimensional data modelsDeveloping front end reports using SAP Analytics Cloud and Analysis for Office technologyUtilizing ABAP, SQL and/or Python language to meet complex business requirementsWell-developed analytical trouble-shooting skillsGeneralEffective communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)Good problem solving and testing skillsComfortable interfacing with end usersKnowledgeable on SAP Finance processWhy Syntax?Become a part of our success story and work in a company with exciting innovation projects that are causing a stir across the industry.
