Role: Business Insights AnalystJob Type: Temporary Role – 3-6 month fixed-term contractor with USD paymentAbout our Client:The RoleThe Business Insights Analyst supports the Senior Director of Finance & Accounting and the leadership team by transforming data into actionable insights that guide financial and operational decisions.This role develops automated reporting systems, monitors key performance indicators (KPIs), and analyzes business trends to enhance visibility, efficiency, and profitability—particularly in post-acquisition and growth environments.The position collaborates cross-functionally with finance, commercial, and operations teams to build a culture of data-driven decision-making.What You Will DoPerformance Tracking & KPI AlignmentCollaborate with business leaders to define and refine KPIs aligned with company goals and post-acquisition integration objectives.Monitor business performance across revenue, cost, and operational efficiency metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.Support regular performance reviews and executive reporting with timely, accurate analysis.Reporting & AutomationDevelop, maintain, and enhance automated dashboards and reporting systems (Power BI, Excel, etc.) for real-time performance visibility.Streamline manual reporting processes using data automation and visualization tools.Ensure reporting consistency, accuracy, and accessibility across departments.Data Analysis & InsightsAnalyze business performance data to uncover trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.Conduct ad hoc and scenario analyses to support strategic planning and investment decisions.Provide insights linking operational performance to financial outcomes to guide leadership decision-making.Data Quality & GovernanceMaintain data integrity and consistency across ERP (NetSuite), CRM (HubSpot), and eCommerce (Shopify) systems.Partner with IT and data engineering teams to improve data pipelines and reporting infrastructure.Support governance initiatives ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable analytics.Collaborate with commercial, finance, and operations teams to deliver data-driven insights and solutions.Present analytical findings through clear visual dashboards and concise executive summaries.Provide training and documentation to enhance data literacy across business units.What You BringEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.2–5 years of experience in business analytics, FP&A, or performance reporting.Experience supporting executive teams, preferably reporting directly to finance leadership.Background supporting commercial teams (sales, marketing, or eCommerce) strongly preferred.Technical SkillsStrong proficiency in Power BI (PBI) and Excel for reporting and data visualization.Familiarity with NetSuite ERP data structures and reporting.Experience with HubSpot CRM, Shopify, or similar datasets.Understanding of financial statements and their relationship to operational metrics.Basic SQL or data modeling skills; experience with AI / ML-driven analytics tools is a plus.Core CompetenciesAnalytical thinker with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and translate data into actionable insights.Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple reporting priorities.Seniority Level: Mid-Senior level.Employment Type: Temporary.Job Function: General Business.Industries: Outsourcing and Offshoring Consulting.#J-*****-Ljbffr
