**Essentials functions**:- The NPI Engineer will work with cross-functional teams that are focused on the delivery of new product introduction from design to High volume manufacturing.This person will develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.The NPI engineer will be responsible for the new product implementation and ensure that it aligns with the applicable business unit.- **Experience:- 4 + years' experience in New Product Introduction or equivalent combination of education and experience.- 5 years of aerospace industry work experience preferred.- Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.- Management Contract Review or Customer revisions experience is highly desirable.- **Education:- Professional career in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Industrial engineering field.- **Knowledge**:- Ability and willingness to travel as needed to support the business.- Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of software packages (MS Project, QAD, Lotus notes, etc.).- Creativity and flexibility thinking.- Bi-lingual in Spanish and English.- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects- Time management and organization skills- Familiarity with processes for engineering change request (ECR) and engineering change order (ECO).- Exemplary organizing and planning skills, managing, and prioritizing tasks, and problem-solving capabilities.- Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills in English.- **Authority:**- Leads the Project management activities during new product introductions.
