Directive Consulting is the performance marketing agency for SaaS companies.We use Customer Generation (a marketing methodology developed by us) which focuses on SQLs and Customers instead of traditional metrics like MQLs.We offer Paid Media, SEO, Performance Creative and Design, Video, Revenue Operations, and Strategy services to our clients by creating comprehensive digital marketing strategies that allow our clients to hit their SQL targets, every time.We've experienced hyper-growth over the last year and have remained true to our culture of, the best idea wins.We're future-focused and are looking for others with a growth mindset to join our evolving teamsThe Director of Finance is a senior-level position that plays a critical role in developing and implementing the strategy for the corporate financial planning processes including Strategic Business Planning, Annual Planning, and interim forecast.This individual will lead and drive accountability for performance and results across the organization while also supporting better business and investment decisions through complex analysis.This person will manage a team and cover all departmental P&Ls for the business by partnering closely with leaders across the company to deliver accurate and actionable insights.This role will report into the VP of Finance.**Roles & Responsibilities**:- Lead P&L reporting and forecasting processes (monthly, trimesterly, annual, and long-range plans) with a high degree of accuracy and transparency- Own total booking, revenue, and billing forecasts and related analyses, providing visibility and helping to define key topline metrics in partnership with Sales, Ops, Marketing, and the broader Executive team- Implement effective capital allocation to fund growth targets- Build and enhance robust financial models through a strategic lens to highlight trends and assess current and future business risks and opportunities- Enhance and own various key metrics reporting to support business decisions and optimize resource allocation- Prepare and present analyses, forecasts, and recommendations to senior management to support critical decisions for the company- Drive results and effectively manage various cost inputs- Drive process improvements and provide ad-hoc analyses to support the company's rapid growth- Work with the leadership team on acquisition evaluations and successful integrations.Work closely with CEO and VP of Finance on the diligence, execution, and full integration of several add-on acquisitions with a focus on velocity- Ensure finance & accounting tech stacks are optimized for efficient processes- Prepare Board of Directors presentation materialsLead, develop, and mentor the career development of team members- Collaboratively work with HR team for business insights to team and headcount metrics- Assist with Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and ad hoc reporting as requested by Executive and leadership teams**What You Offer**:- BS degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance- 6+ years experience in relevant professional experience in general corporate finance (preferably agency experience)- Deep expertise in financial analysis & financial reporting- Public accounting or Audit experience is a plus- Experience or familiar with GAAP accounting and monthly closing processes to drive Ability to drive process improvements in efficiency & effectiveness- Experience with Quickbooks (software/tool) & proficiency in excel- Proven and measurable success in organizational skills and ability to adhere to timelines- Takes initiative and responsibility to be self-motivated- Equal parts competitive and curious; you're a true problem solver- You live on the cutting edge of the industry, always looking for opportunities to grow and share- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate with a sense of urgency for high priority items- You're quality-obsessed with accuracy, timeliness & consistency**Benefits**No employee at Directive makes less than $70,000/yearMedical, dental, vision plans, disability, and life insurance coverage for you and your family that fit your lifestyleIncluding a 100% employer-paid plan for you and a 50% employer contribution for your dependentsBenefits to Support the Whole Person:Mental - Access to certified therapists through Spring Health, membership to HeadspacePhysical - Physical therapy through Omada, fertility support through Carrott, thousands of Aaptiv virtual workouts, complimentary One Medical membership for primary and virtual careTime Off - Unlimited PTO (2-week minimum), Paid Company Holidays, Your Birthday Off, End of Year Recharge (Closed December 24 - January 1), Paid Parental LeaveFinancial - Traditional and Roth 401(k) with a 3% company matchBonus - Annual bonus based on tenure, which scales in total amount over timeAnnual Anniversary Trip to Newport Beach, CA with peers and executive leadership
