Contracts Negotiator - Mexico - HomebasedICON plc is a world-leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization.We're proud to foster an inclusive environment driving innovation and excellence, and we welcome you to join us on our mission to shape the future of clinical developmentWhat you will be doing:As a Contract Negotiator, you will play an integral role in ensuring physicians at our research sites are prepared to initiate clinical trials of investigational pharmaceutical and biological products.- Review and negotiate clinical site investigator contracts and budgets.- Maintain communication with investigative sites, sponsors, and internal stakeholders regarding contract status.- Prepare and coordinate contractual documents and correspondence.- Facilitate the indemnification process between the study sponsor and the site.- Act as an internal consultant on study budgets, train and mentor junior staff as needed, and support the full lifecycle of contract and budget development.- Tracks progress of site contracts agreements and related documents regularly in required systems.- Proactively identifies and raises risks, while also, suggesting mitigation plans to establish study milestones and planned site contracts timelines.- Works cross functionally with internal stakeholders in support of timely site start up for the conduct of clinical trials including accurate forecast of contract execution timelines.- Reviews site contracts for completeness and accuracy and ensures adherence to department and client requirements, corrects documents, and files changes to contracts.Your Profile:- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Law Degree or equivalent experiencer preferred.- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in clinical trials preferred.- Proven experience reviewing and negotiating contracts and budgets.- Familiarity with clinical research environments, particularly in contract/budget negotiations or similar legal document-focused roles.- Fluent in written and spoken English as the main negotiation language-- Ability to follow written and oral instructions from a variety of sources.- Completes tasks independently on time and in an efficient manner.- Demonstrates effective time management skills and has ability to prioritize multiple tasks with management guidance and oversight.- Strong attention to detail.- Great interpersonal and communication skills.- Confidence in dealing with external and internal clients.LI-DT2LI-RemoteWhat ICON can offer you:- Our success depends on the quality of our people.That's why we've made it a priority to build a diverse culture that rewards high performance and nurtures talent.- In addition to your competitive salary, ICON offers a range of additional benefits.Our benefits are designed to be competitive within each country and are focused on well-being and work life balance opportunities for you and your family.- Our benefits examples include:- Various annual leave entitlements- A range of health insurance offerings to suit you and your family's needs.- Competitive retirement planning offerings to maximize savings and plan with confidence for the years ahead.- Global Employee Assistance Programme, TELUS Health, offering 24-hour access to a global network of over 80,000 independent specialised professionals who are there to support you and your family's well-being.- Life assurance- Flexible country-specific optional benefits, including childcare vouchers, bike purchase schemes, discounted gym memberships, subsidised travel passes, health assessments, among others.Visit ourcareers siteto read more about the benefits ICON offers.
