**We're Hiring - Junior Engineer****Location**: Remote / (Ciudad, País)**Type**: Full-time**About Us**Elite Drafting & Design provides high-quality shop drawings and engineering services for glazing contractors across the United States.We work on commercial, institutional, and specialty projects with a focus on precision, communication, and efficiency.We're looking for a **Junior Engineer** to join our growing team and work directly under our Senior Engineer, supporting ongoing projects from concept to completion.**Key Responsibilities**- Assist in the preparation, review, and revision of engineering calculations for glazing systems, curtain walls, storefronts, and related assemblies.- Interpret architectural and structural drawings to extract relevant engineering data.- Coordinate with the drafting team to ensure engineering requirements are accurately reflected in shop drawings.- Communicate with the Senior Engineer to clarify technical requirements and resolve design questions.- Support submittal packages with technical documentation, calculation sheets, and compliance notes.- Maintain organized records of engineering data, revisions, and approvals.- Research manufacturer specifications and building codes as needed.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field (or final-year student with availability to work full-time).- **Strong written and spoken English** - must be able to communicate with U.S. clients and read technical documentation.- Solid understanding of structural principles, load calculations, and material properties.- Familiarity with aluminum glazing systems, steel framing, or façade engineering is a plus.- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word).- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.- Willingness to learn and adapt to project-specific workflows.**Nice to Have**- Experience with U.S. building codes (IBC, ASTM standards).- Knowledge of calculation software such as STAAD, SAP****, or similar.- Previous work in a glazing, façade, or metal structures company.**What We Offer**- Hands-on training from our Senior Engineer.- Opportunity to work on diverse projects across the U.S.- Professional growth in a specialized niche of engineering.- Collaborative and flexible work environment.Pay: $15,****** - $18,****** per month**Language**:- English (required)Work Location: Remote
