What you will bring Ensuring that research programs drive commercial outcomes, ideally in a fast-moving consumer goods environment Influencing business strategy through critical thinking and technical thought leadership Working collaboratively across functions, geographies and with internal and external partners to land the agenda Coaching and mentoring others Creating a culture of technical curiosity and collaboration The Director WACAM R&D Lead will be responsible for leading the R&D agenda for the WACAM (Western Andean, Central America, and Caribbean) Business Unit. This leader will report to the SVP, Global R&D Biscuits and to the President, WACAM. S/he will sit on the WACAM BU Leadership team, and play a key role in shaping the strategy of R&D in the business unit to enable the BU's growth agenda. S/he will drive ‘big bet’ programs and develop capabilities to support new business opportunities and new technologies, improve quality, and reduce costs. In addition to leading R&D agenda for the business unit, this individual will also lead projects in the Biscuits category for the entire Latin America region.
