Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office. Responsibilities Design and develop applications with solid knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Spring Application Framework, XML, Web Services, REST services, PL/SQL, and GitHub. Collaborate with Business Analysts to thoroughly understand and analyze business requirements. Work closely with the Technical Lead to translate business needs into comprehensive high‑level and detailed design specifications. Coordinate with Data Analysts to define and document database requirements. Support the AES/DBA team in the deployment of applications, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Qualifications Minimum of 5+ years of overall experience, with at least 5 years in Java development. Proficient in Node.js, Java, Web Services, RESTful API development, and SQL. Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. Strong analytical skills with the ability to creatively solve problems.
