Sevan Multi-Site Solutions is a veteran-owned business that provides construction, program management, real estate & site development, and architecture & engineering services for restaurant, grocery, fuel and convenience store, retail, and government sectors nationwide.We work with leading brands like McDonald's, Starbucks, Sprouts, and BP, to name a few.At Sevan, we provide the talent, technology, and trusted expertise needed to consistently deliver excellence in multi-site construction.- Sevan is an INC. **** Fastest-Growing Company - Great Places to Work *********** HIRE Vets Gold Medallion Award - Best Places to work in Chicago '20, '21, '22, '23, - Best Places to Work in Construction ****, ****_The **Design Lead** is as a member of the Architecture & Design studio and works alongside a group of individuals to provide architectural services within a dedicated design team.A design professional, accountable for managing and producing accurate design and construction documents for our multi-site clients, and leading and supporting other team members in achieving team goals.Experience with multi-site restaurant, retail, grocery, and/or fuel projects is highly preferred.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:- Prepares complete, accurate and code compliant construction documents.- Provides technical and creative design solutions that align with program intent.- Advises on settings project design goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, etc.- Applies client's program requirements and designs criteria to existing buildings and structures.- Responsible for maintaining project design schedules, deadlines, and commitments for small and medium-scope assignments of average difficulty.- Coordinates work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives.- Notifies supervisor of changes in project scope and advises if a change order proposal is needed.- Possesses a working knowledge of building codes and ADA requirements and provides such expertise to the assigned projects/programs.- Conducts project due diligence with municipalities to determine local zoning and building code requirements.- Accountable for resolving plan review comments from code officials.- Accountable for design quality control and technical accuracy of team assignments.- Assists the project liaison to code officials, outside consultants, suppliers, and contractors regarding questions of the construction documents.- Confirms and verifies design requirements related to the project or program.- Follows established standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.- Oversees and directs designers and technicians, ensuring high productivity and project success.- Reviews / evaluates other's work and provide productive feedback and technical direction.- Works with supervisor and peers to pursue professional development.- Proactively identifies, solves, or elevates project issues related to design, safety, or quality.- Adheres to CAD/REVIT standards and follows assigned drafting protocol across all projects.- Works with supervisor and peers to pursue professional development.- Accountable for timely completion of assigned projects.- May represent the company at client project meetings.Visits project sites to verify scope, exiting conditions and other related activities.- Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.- Capable of prioritizing and working on multiple projects at the same time.- Other duties as assigned.**Qualifications**:- Minimum 4-year degree in Architecture or equivalent; 5+ or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Demonstrated skills in design production management.- Pursing Architect license, preferred.- Demonstrated expertise in drawings, specifications, and building materials.- Demonstrated experience completing moderately difficult architectural assignments with mínimal supervision.- Able to execute and coordinate multiple projects at a time.- Experience in multi-site projects preferred.- Highly proficient working in AutoCAD and highly proficient working in Revit.Proficiency with Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp (preferred), Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, 3D Studio Max is preferred.**Language & Collaboration Requirements**:**Work Conditions**:This role is remote based and will work closely with Architects, Designers, Engineers, and clients in the U.S. Multi-shift work may often be required to accomplish work to meet aggressive schedules.Must be flexible, adaptable, and able to work with fluid schedules.Able to work remotely in a home office setting and manage time effectively with multiple projects and deadlines.**Why Join Sevan?**At Sevan, we believe in creating a supportive and dynamic environment where your contributions truly matter.Here's what you can expect as
