**Maintenance Specialist**:**At ABB, we are dedicated to addressing global challenges.Our core values: care, courage, curiosity, and collaboration - combined with a focus on diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities - are key drivers in our aim to empower everyone to create sustainable solutions.That's our story.Make it your story.**:**This position reports to**:Maintenance Manager**Your role and responsibilities**:In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities, resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources.Each day, you will oversee execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.You will also showcase your expertise by managing and updating technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-Onsite Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.This role is contributing to the ABB Electrification Installation Products plant in Guadalupe.You will be mainly accountable for: - Defining maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities, and consulting on ways to improve reliability, maintainability, and safety of equipment and/or facilities.- Solving major technical, equipment, or facilities problems to achieve higher performance of the production lines.- Proposing improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency.- Responding to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruption in the production process.Our team dynamics You will join a talented team, where you will be able to thrive.**Qualifications for the role**:- You have 1+ years of experience in the maintenance area.- You have mechanical and electrical knowledge.- You have knowledge of electrical safety and in low, medium, and high voltage.- If you have PLC programming experience is a plus.- You area easy to communicate in English in an intermediate level.- Bachelor's degree in engineering completed.**Benefits**:- Paid Parental leave (gender neutral)- Life insurance- Retirement plan- Accident insurance- Wellbeing program- Dental insurance- Flex days- Employee Assistance Program (PAE)- Development platforms: Spark, Harvard Manager Mentor and English Learning EF English Live School (EF)**More about us**:
