Join to apply for the Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineering role at Vertiv2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsSenior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will lead and oversee multiple projects on the Thermal Business Unit, focusing on Reynosa Operations, product transfers, new product introduction programs, process improvements, and capital projects to support growth.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Line of Business Leaders to align manufacturing plans with Product Roadmaps.Responsible for End of Line Testing Equipment, parameters, scripts, and Capex.Lead, develop and implement manufacturing plans for assigned new products according to the NPDI program.Provide direct support for plant-to-plant product transfers and new product development programs.Support Vertiv manufacturing operations using standard processes, equipment, and manufacturing methods.Identify, justify, pilot, and commission advanced manufacturing technologies, processes, equipment, and practices.Provide support for cost analyses of new and existing products.Execute the Manufacturing Readiness Checklist and NPDI process deliverables.Lead manufacturing prototype builds with local operation teams to achieve a 2-week lead time.Accountable for engineering prototype builds with Design Engineering.Actively intervene in growth strategies for the assigned BU, footprint, and technical capacity.Implement best manufacturing practices for existing processes and provide multi-site engineering support.Assist with business-critical capital projects including facility planning, layout, and cost justification.QualificationsBS in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Business Operations Management with 4–8 years of manufacturing experience.MS in Engineering or MBA with 5+ years of advanced manufacturing experience.Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma formal training or certifications.Extensive knowledge of formalized advanced and lean manufacturing applications.Extensive experience in New Product Development and Product Transfers.Excellent vertical communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.Demonstrated ability to think creatively, coach, train, facilitate, and lead teams in a transformational environment.Strong project management, technical, analytical, and PC skills.Team-building and teamwork orientation and results orientation.Physical & Environmental DemandsRole is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams.Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.Involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer and occasional standing or walking during meetings or site visits.Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.Travel RequiredTravel to different office or plant locations, client sites, or conferences may be necessary.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesAppliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing#J-*****-Ljbffr
