**Org Marketing Statement**Parker Hannifin can be found on and around everything that moves.The company employs approximately 58,000 people in 49 countries around the world and with annual sales exceeding $13 billion dollars.Parker is the world's leading diversified manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems, providing precision-engineered solutions for a wide variety of mobile, industrial and aerospace markets.Parker's focus on solving some of the world's greatest engineering challenges sparks our passion for innovation and secures our future growth.Our technological expertise creates a more sustainable future for us all.**Position Summary**Responsible for leading and executing lean concepts by utilizing resources of personnel, material, machines and facilities wher decisions made within the limits of general practices and policies Leads front-line Lean initiatives at the Plant level by utlizing the Sporlan site Value stream metrics Organizations associates in value stream mapping and continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste in all office, factory and support functions Measures and reports progress on an on-going basis using PDCA actions, keeping Plant and Divisional leadership informed and involved**Responsibilities**- Maintains a safe workplace for self and fellow associates- Leads and guides Lean initiatives within the Plant Works with Plant level management on Lean projects using lean tools and metrics Assists be implemented plant-wide- Coordinates / Participates / and executes initiatives at the plant and train associates how to continually eliminate waste- Support and executes along with the leadership leans at the location in the implementation of Lean principles, techniques, and methodologies according to Corporate requirements Technologies and methodologies include Value Steam Mapping, 8 point criteria, including Cellular Manufactunng, Yamazumi chart, Continuous flow, JIT, Kanban / Pull Systems/Heijunka, Quick Changeover (SMED), design for lean, Total productive maintenance (TPM), inventory reduction, site tracking / TIB visual management centers etc.- Makes implementation and results a top priority and regularly updates the Plant's Lean implementation plan Empowers every employee in the Plant through positive reinforcement of Lean."Make Lean the way we do things at Parker- Provides effective change management Serves as a leading catalyst for successful and sustained lean implementation- Documents change through update of Standard work documents and ensures current documentation and process compliance through audits, line walks, etc."- Provides front line level of technical and operational recommendations in meeting material control, product quality and customer service goals.Supports coaching and teaching of lean principles through the use educational and on floor experiences- Ensures on-going education of all employees at the Plant in Lean Promotes a Continuous Learning environment.Position must understand the current culture by reviewing existing documentation of policies and procedures Position is responsible for working with all operating disciplines in order to implement value stream management targets developed in the high-lovel plant and value stream plans, measured by key Lean metrics**Qualifications****Qualifications**- Bachelor or Engineering- Fluent English for business conversations- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar position- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is desirable**Language Tags
