About New StoryNew Story is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing the global housing crisis by harnessing market-driven solutions.Founded in ****, the organization focuses on creating pathways to land and home ownership for underserved families in Latin America.By leveraging private capital and adopting an innovative land-first strategy, New Story effectively reduces development timelines from over a decade to just a couple of years.They operate across multiple countries, including Mexico, El Salvador, Bolivia, and Haiti, and are committed to building generational wealth for families while promoting sustainable community growth.Notably recognized by Fast Company as one of the "World's Most Innovative Companies," New Story maintains a vibrant culture that values courage, excellence, and collaboration.About this RoleAs an Investment Analyst at New Story, you will be a key member of a dynamic team focused on developing market-based housing solutions.Working closely with the Investment Associate and Director of Investments, your role will involve supporting investment origination, evaluation, and monitoring.You will handle financial modeling, market analysis, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring.A significant part of your duties will also include drafting materials for investment committees and preparing investor updates.Additionally, you'll collaborate with teams both in Mexico City and the U.S., contributing to projects that amplify New Story's mission to transform unutilized land into thriving communities.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain financial models for housing and land development projects.Assist in underwriting new fund investments and executing financial/commercial/technical diligence.Track operating and financial KPIs and prepare relevant analyses.Draft investment memoranda, executive presentations, and investor updates.Conduct market research on supply-demand dynamics, pricing, and trends.Improve templates, workflows, and controls for data management.Enhance industry knowledge and networking to support strategic decision-making.Requirements1–3 years of experience in real estate, investment banking, or related fields.Strong financial modeling skills with expertise in real estate investments.Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for financial simulations and analyses.Solid understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies.Ability to create executive-ready presentations and memos.Bilingual in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.Bachelor's degree in relevant fields or equivalent proven experience.Benefits100% coverage of employee premiums for medical insurance and life insurance.Flex Benefit Card with a monthly allowance of $1,000 MXN.Federal holiday bonus and vacation premium.Unlimited vacation policy after one year.Paid parental leave for primary and secondary caregivers.Adoption reimbursement of up to $180,000 MXN.Opportunities for professional development and learning.Company events and trips to project sites for in-person engagement.#J-*****-Ljbffr
