Sr Material Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial analysis and strategic support within a manufacturing environment, often involving budgeting, cost variance analysis, and reporting to guide financial decision-makingFunctions- Analyze, report, and explain variances in material costs, work orders, and other operational areas.- Support the Monthly/ annual Fcst / budget process and long-term financial forecasts, often working closely with the FP&A Manager, Operations and Plant Controllers.- Prepare and present detailed financial reports, ad-hoc reports, and performance metrics to management- Monitor and control cost variances to help identify areas for cost optimization.- Build and maintain financial models and forecasts to predict future financial performance.- Perform reconciliations related to material and other financial data.- Provide financial insights and analysis for strategic decision-making and be involved in the review of projects and proposals.Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA is often preferred.- Proven experience in financial analysis, with a focus on cost accounting, variance analysis, and budgeting.- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP financial/data management systems is essential.- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data.- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present to management- Fluent in English and Spanish
