Manager, Broadcast Operations & Services Planning - MexicoDepartment:Broadcast & Media OperationsEmployment Type:Fixed Term - Full TimeLocation:Mexico CityDescriptionAt FIFA World Cup ****, our vision is to unite the world through the greatest, most innovative, and inclusive sporting event of all time.The **** World Cup will mark the first time that the tournament will be hosted by three countries: the United States, Canada, and Mexico.This new format redefines excellence, generating unique opportunities for greater participation and engagement from fans and players.Now is your time to be part of the workforce that is creating this unique and unforgettable experience.THE POSITIONAs part of the central broadcast planning team for the FIFA World Cup ****, the Broadcast Operations and Services Manager report organizationally and functionally to the Broadcast Operations & Services senior management in Miami and to the Executive Director Stadium & Venue Management in Mexico.They will be responsible for overseeing the planning, preparation and delivery of broadcast facilities and services at stadia in Mexico for the FIFA World Cup ****.At event time, they will assume the role of Broadcast Operations Manager at one of the stadiums, to ensure smooth delivery of broadcast operations.The main responsibilities of the Broadcast Operations & Services Manager for the FIFA World Cup **** include: Maintain oversight of the planning & preparation of broadcast sites, including timeline development, risk management, to ensure a successful delivery of broadcast facilities and services.Manage the compliance of broadcast areas at stadia in accordance with the FIFA requirements, ensuring planning, delivery, and readiness timelines are met.Liaising closely with FWC26 functional areas, stadium personnel, and the Host Broadcaster on the preparation and development of broadcast facilities throughout the project.Working closely with the Host Broadcaster to ensure technical compliance of broadcast facilities and infrastructure, including reviewing and inputting into design & specifications.Support the coordination of broadcast activities during additional events such as potential test events, opening and closing ceremonies, and official announcements.Report on preparation, progress, managing and resolving risks and issues for and escalating any urgent issues in a timely manner.Work closely with the broadcast planning team to ensure consistent preparation across all sites.Contribute to post-event assessments, evaluating broadcast operations, identifying successes and areas for improvement.Foster relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration throughout the project.YOUR PROFILEFluent in English and SpanishBachelor's degree in media or sports event management or similarMinimum 6 years of experience in event management, preparation, and planning, preferably in a broadcast environmentStrong interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholdersStrong project management skills, with experience of managing complex projects across preparation, planning, and deliveryExperience in preparation & planning of major sports events, FIFA World Cup or other FIFA events will be an assetYour curriculum must be uploaded in English.#J-*****-Ljbffr
