**Job Details**As a Sr Manager - Strategic Data Engineer, you will need to respond to the shifting business needs and priorities in systematic and effective way, translating enterprise or business requirements into information/data architecture solutions, including conceptual, logical, and physical models.Qualitative expert with exceptional speed in analysis of quarterly and annual reports and providing comprehensive synthesis.**How will you do it?**- Create ETL jobs using Talend Big Data Studio, implement Java routines and deploy jobs in TAC.- Extensively used Pig for data cleaning and optimization to analyze large datasets.- Build, maintain Hive scripts, partitions and complex queries for data analysis and extraction.- Handle importing of large data sets from various ERPs into HDFS using Sqoop.- Perform data analysis using Spark's Scala APIs and Spark SQL.- Create the end user reports using the Power BI reporting tool.- Implementing and promoting governance processes for information and metadata to ensure establishment of a common language and the ongoing accuracy, validity, and reuse of metadata- Ability to work in challenging environment and strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills- Ability to adapt new technologies and ability to work in-groups as well as independently with minimum supervision- Strong understanding of Hadoop fundamentals with extensive experience in designing high performance, scalable data solutions using Big Data Processing Frameworks and Tools- Deep knowledge in SQL and Relational Databases.- Work across multiple cross-functional teams in high visibility roles and own the data solution end-to-end.- Participated in all phases of development life cycle with extensive involvement in the definition and design meetings, functional and technical walkthroughs.- Developed stored procedure and python framework to automate the testing process to ease QA efforts and reduced the test timelines for data comparison on tables.- Involved in production deployment activities, creation of the deployment guide for migration of the code to production, also prepared production run books- Enforced best practices for Design, Development, Release Management and Production Support- Developed Ingestion pipelines from On-Prem Data lakes, SAP and other systems to ADLS raw layers using ADF- Designed and developed Transformation Logic for Dimensions, Facts and other tables using Azure Databricks with PySpark and SQL- Designed and developed Type1, Type2 dimensions for different data warehouse solutions using Databricks and Synapse- Designed and developed Power BI Reports for Capex, Supply Chain and Finance- Designed and developed Planning and Reporting solutions for Revenue, HR and Capital Planning- Designed and developed HANA information models and Power BI reports on HANA**What we look for?**- Bachelor degree in IT Area or relates, from an accredited university- Fluent English- 10+ years of information systems experience- 10+ years performing Business Analysis related work- 10+ years of IT experience supporting Finance//Commercial//Operational functional areas- Expert knowledge and experience in Bigdata and Cloud technologies- Ability to lead and collaborate with other enterprise architects, data platform architects and security architects to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient IaaS and PaaS platform solutions in Azure- Proficiency in extracting data from various Structured & Semi Structured data sources- Expert knowledge in creating reports and dashboards using Power BI and Oracle Business Intelligence- Advanced SQL experience with the ability to build complex SQL queries to prep and blend data.- Proficient in using Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Power Apps and Azure.- Exposure to various development methodologies including PM & Agile- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite for development- Proven ability to critically think and creatively problem solve.- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.- Experience connecting directly to multiple databases to extract, prep, and blend large datasets- Strategic, intellectually curious thinker with focus on outcomes- Strong communication skills (English and Spanish)- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries and geographies and lead by influence.- Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple IT and user groups- Problem-solving skills - ability to navigate technology and organizational issues to complete project tasks- Proven implementation and problem-solving experience - including troubleshooting, performance tuning and resolving connectivity issue- Must have experience working on projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business**Experience With Following Tools**:- Strong knowledge skills of MS SQL- Power Apps- Microsoft Flows- SharePoint- Knowledge of R, Python,
