Contract: Full-time Independent ContractorLocation: 100% remote workingOur FirmSterlington is an international law firm that combines legal and commercial excellence with modern ways of practicing.Our high-caliber partners work on complex business matters with a tailored approach to client service and a focus on financial flexibility and innovation.We are the ultimate law firm for private clients, private capital, senior executives, leaders, HNWIs and family offices as well as related businesses in both corporate and litigation matters.We take a commercial and holistic approach to the legal and business needs of our clients.Learn More at: The RoleAs the Vendor & Procurement Lead you will play a pivotal role in centralizing our vendor and supplier management functions.This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in an asynchronous fast-paced work environment.You will be responsible for driving procurement processes and building supplier relationships using digital collaboration tools to create efficient, transparent and cost-effective systems.Success in this role requires the ability to work independently across different time zones and to manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently without letting things fall through the cracks.Key ResponsibilitiesVendor Lifecycle Management: manage vendors from internal stakeholder request through to procurement negotiations, contract review and renewal.More strategically also plan, execute and monitor the centralization of our vendor management function.Contract & Vendor Analysis: identify and evaluate existing contracts, capturing vendor relationships in our systems to facilitate a comprehensive review and identify cost-saving opportunities.Process Implementation: develop and roll out clear procurement processes and requirements and implement best practices from scratch.Asynchronous Relationship Building: build and maintain relationships with suppliers across time zones ensuring an optimal mix of sync and async working methods to maintain agility.Risk Mitigation: identify, mitigate and elevate procurement risks to enable the organization to meet its obligations and maximize business opportunities, documenting all steps and communications clearly.Drive Visibility and Transparency through effective stakeholder collaboration: ensure all stakeholders are kept informed through clear written updates in shared channels and documents.Generate and share detailed reports on procurement and contract activity providing concise summaries to facilitate asynchronous decision-making.Validate stakeholder business needs and source market information by collaborating effectively within Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and email ensuring requests are tracked and addressed efficiently.What would help you succeed in this roleExperience in Procurement: A strong background in procurement, vendor management and contract negotiation is required.Bonus: If you have experience doing Procurement for law firms.Remote & Asynchronous Experience: thrive in a fully remote asynchronous work environment with team members and vendors across multiple time zones.Exceptional Communication Skills: communicate in a clear, concise and professional way both in writing and speaking to build trust with stakeholders.Tech-savviness & Tool Proficiency: proficient with modern collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, etc.).Strong Prioritization Skills & Proactivity: manage and prioritize incoming work across different channels while delivering and solving problems proactively.Sterlington is a full-service law firm that combines legal and commercial excellence with modern ways of practicing.This position is not currently open to recruiting agency submissions.Key SkillsEditorial, Access Control System, Finance Control, Contract Attorney, Garment, AirlinesEmployment Type: Full TimeExperience: yearsVacancy: 1#J-*****-Ljbffr
