For This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Coordinate EHS activities and develop site-specific programs targeting safety culture change through implementation of best practices.Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal and external EHS requirements, keeping current with impending legislation ensuring that internal stakeholders are informed and made aware of the potential impact(s).Support a common approach to the collection and reporting of EHS metrics; prepare reports for management on trends and improvement actions.Elaboration standards and procedures aimed at the incidents and pollution prevention and control.Hold EHS reviews with site leaders to review problems/risk areas/concerns which may affect the overall EHS conditions within the facility.Respond and coordinate emergency plans and programs through drills, maps, and other means.In charge of the Radiologic Safety.Define, conduct, coordinate or oversee EHS training.Represent the company during EHS audits by government agencies.Review and maintain the compliance in the generation, storage, handling and disposal of hazardous, non-hazardous, and special waste.Provide safety & environmental expertise for new or modified processes to ensure that environmental impacts are considered and appropriate controls are established to eliminate or reduce risks.Compile, analyze and keeping records, statistics and documents of HSE.Coordinate, oversee and scrutinize accident / incident reporting with complete coverage through photos, videos and comprehensive narrative or other means.Ensure improvement in adverse working habits, employee performance, maintain improved performance, and follow up actions to solve EHS related problems.Coordinates the internal and external EHS audits.Complies with all safety policies, reports immediately any situation of risk andparticipate actively withactions to improve safety in his area of control.Control the resources assigned by the company to the department.For This Role, You Will Need:Degree in C hemical or EnvironmentalPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:5 years' experience in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental discipline or equivalent.5 years of experience with an emphasis in environmental, health and safety regulations.Comprehension of International, National, State, Local & Emerson EHS requirements.Bilingual English Spanish 90% & master's degreeOur Culture & Commitment to You:At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.We foster an environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, and diverse perspectives—because we know that great ideas come from great teams.Our commitment to ongoing career development and growing an inclusive culture ensures you have the support to thrive.Whether through mentorship, training, or leadership opportunities, we invest in your success so you can make a lasting impact.We believe diverse teams, working together are key to driving growth and delivering business results.We recognize the importance of employee wellbeing.We prioritize providing competitive benefits plans, a variety of medical insurance plans, Employee Assistance Program, employee resource groups, recognition, and much more.Our culture offers flexible time off plans, vacation and holiday leave.#J-*****-Ljbffr
