Descripción

  • Lead all Mexican tax compliance activities, including Corporate Income Tax (ISR), VAT (IVA), withholding taxes, and related statutory obligations.
  • Manage the end-to-end VAT refund process, including preparation, documentation, submissions, and follow-up with tax authorities.
  • Oversee tax accounting activities, including tax provisions, deferred taxes, reconciliations, and tax-related reporting.
  • Coordinate and respond to SAT audits, tax authority reviews, and compliance inquiries.
  • Support transfer pricing matters, intercompany transactions, and international tax-related issues.
  • Review accounting records, trial balances, and financial information to ensure tax accuracy and compliance.
  • Partner closely with Finance, Payroll, and Trade Compliance teams to address tax implications and business requirements.
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting enhancements while acting as the primary tax advisor to local and regional stakeholders.

Perfil buscado

  • 8+ years of progressive tax experience, preferably within multinational manufacturing, industrial, maquiladora, or highly export-oriented organizations.
  • Strong technical expertise in Mexican taxes, including ISR, IVA, withholding taxes, transfer pricing, and tax accounting.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end VAT refund processes and dealing directly with tax authorities and audits.
  • Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with regional and global stakeholders.
  • Hands-on professional who enjoys execution and can thrive in a highly operational, fast-paced environment with multiple deliverables.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and resilient individual with strong communication skills, executive presence, and the maturity to interact with senior leadership.
