Job TitleGlobal Sourcing CoordinatorPosition PurposeWorks collaboratively with global sourcing team members in Mexico, us, and China, as well as merchandising, supply chain, and other supporting functions, and central and south America suppliers to execute AutoZone's sourcing strategies.Coordinates with global sourcing team to execute direct import program for Mexico stores, and near sourcing opportunities for us and Mexico stores from central and south America.identifies and supports supplier base and cost savings opportunities.Primary Accountabilities- Support communication and execution of di sourcing plan with category management teams, as well as communication with us and china global sourcing teams, develop full proposals including factory overview, quality and savings.- Manage vendor onboarding (legal documents, packaging, etc.) And DI transitions.- Manage landed cost model to compare and execute new programs.- Maintain database of qualified suppliers by product type and country, keep tracking of savings results and update reports.- Support identification of new opportunities and execute requests for proposals and requests for quote.- Support sourcing on Mexico, central and south America Autoparts markets and suppliers.Education & ExperienceLevel of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.Area of Study: Business, logistics, supply chain management, and/or engineering.Years of Experience: Two to three years.Type of Experience: Experience sourcing, merchandising and/or procurement and/or automotive parts industry and/or AutoZone.Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Excellent Spanish and English verbal and written skills, proficient Microsoft office; organization and analytical skillsOther/Preferred: Portuguese and mandarin language skills a plus; negotiation skills and project management.
