Industrial Designer & Engineer - Custom Furniture (US-based company) | Remoto desde CDMX 📍 Importante: Solo consideraremos candidatos que actualmente vivan en CDMX. En Este Puesto Vas a Diseñar y desarrollar mobiliario custom que combina sheet metal (lámina metálica) y millwork (carpintería/madera a medida). Modelar y detallar en Inventor (o SolidWorks, según tu experiencia), generando planos y conjuntos listos para fabricación. Revisar planos de proyecto, condiciones de sitio y requerimientos técnicos para asegurar que las soluciones sean fabricables y alineadas al presupuesto. Colaborar de forma remota con el equipo de diseño e ingeniería en EE. UU. mediante reuniones virtuales. Coordinarte con fábricas y proveedores para aclarar detalles técnicos y resolver dudas de producción. Preparar documentación técnica: modelos 3D, planos, BOM e instrucciones de instalación. Requisitos Indispensables Experiencia de 3 a 8 años en proyectos que involucren sheet metal fabrication y millwork fabrication (diseñando o trabajando de cerca con talleres/fábricas de mobiliario o elementos a medida). Manejo avanzado de Inventor o SolidWorks, aplicado a diseño de mobiliario, estructuras ligeras o componentes metálicos/madera. Uso habitual de AutoCAD para planos, layouts y coordinación. Experiencia diseñando o ingenierizando mobiliario custom o elementos constructivos a medida (recepciones, muebles empotrados, paneles, barras, etc.). Inglés avanzado para participar en reuniones técnicas por videollamada y revisar documentación. Residir actualmente en Ciudad de México. Valoramos Adicionalmente (nice-to-have) Conocimiento previo de CET & Spec (nivel básico o intermedio) en el contexto de mobiliario. Experiencia con herramientas tipo Project Matrix, NetSuite u otros ERPs / sistemas de especificación y órdenes. Haber trabajado con empresas de mobiliario comercial o contract furniture. Portafolio con ejemplos de proyectos de custom furniture donde se vea claramente la combinación diseño + ingeniería + fabricación. Rol muy hands-on: diseño, ingeniería y contacto directo con la realidad de fabricación. Exposición a proyectos corporativos de gran escala y a clientes globales y reconocidos.
