Logistics Representative

The Logistics Representative is responsible for managing customer’s supply chain information and data within C.H. Robinson’s Transportation Management System. They act as an extension of the customer’s staff to ensure that all information flows properly and efficiently to ensure all transportation arrangements are made. The Logistics Representative is accountable for independently managing their own area of responsibility, fostering, and maintaining a relationship with their assigned customer(s), and utilizing the CHR project-based delivery model to improve any internal or external processes.**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following: Performing relationship and knowledge-based exception management to any pre-defined processes Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements **QUALIFICATIONS** Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and/or Logistics Minimum 1 year of prior experience working with and troubleshooting information systems Ability to work flexible schedule on occasion, including overtime hours when requested Ability to travel up to 5% (domestic and/or international) Excellent customer service skills Ability to present to a variety of audiences Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to think critically, analyze data and solve problems quickly and accurately Ability to work in a team oriented and fast-paced environment Ability to prioritize and handle a variety of tasks Ability to adapt to an ambiguous and changing environment Ability to motivate and encourage change, able to get positive results in a very large, dispersed organization
