The **Supply Chain Director** is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations to maximize process efficiency and productivity.This role involves developing and implementing supply chain strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services.**Key Responsibilities**:- **Strategic Planning**: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's goals and market demands, including sustainability initiatives and risk management plans.- **Procurement Management**: Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective and timely supply of materials.- **Logistics and Distribution**: Manage logistics, warehousing, and distribution operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of purchasing products.- **Inventory Management**: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize costs- **Team Leadership**: Lead and manage the purchasing team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation, to build a high-performing team- **Compliance and Safety**: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to supply chain activities, including environmental and safety standards- **Data Analysis**: Utilize advanced supply chain management technologies and systems for improved visibility, tracking, and optimization of operations- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness**Key** **Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:1. Perfect Order Rate: Measures the percentage of orders that are delivered on time, in full, and without any damage or errors2. Order Fulfillment Cycle Time: The average time taken to fulfill customer orders from the moment they are placed to delivery3. Inventory Turnover: Indicates how often inventory is sold and replaced over a specific period4. Cash-to-Cash Cycle Time: The time taken to convert investments in inventory into cash from sales5. Supply Chain Cycle Time: The total time it takes to produce and deliver a product to the customer6. Fill Rate: The percentage of customer demand that is met without backordering7. On-Time Delivery: The percentage of orders delivered on or before the promised delivery date8. Freight Cost per Unit Shipped: Measures the cost of shipping per unit of product9. Rate of Return: The percentage of products returned by customers10. Supplier Lead Time: The average time taken by suppliers to deliver goods after an order is place**Qualifications**:- **Education**: Bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field- **Experience**: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role- Bilingual (English & Spanish).- Valid Visa (Must).**Preferred Qualifications**:Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).Experience with sustainability and risk management initiatives.Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
