USA Recruitment Consultant I Staffing the best CTV developers across OTT Overview We’re seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to play a critical role in ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of OTT and Connected TV platforms. This is a hands‑on role that blends deep test automation expertise with technical leadership in a fast‑paced Agile environment. You’ll be responsible for driving end‑to‑end testing across native apps, web, and CTV platforms, while helping set testing standards and mentoring other engineers. Responsibilities Work within an Agile software delivery model, focusing on developing and executing automated tests within each iteration. Execute end‑to‑end, regression, and exploratory testing across OTT platforms, native applications, web, and Connected TVs. Validate video content streams and all associated metadata to ensure end‑to‑end content integrity. Identify, document, and assess defects, providing clear risk assessments and assigning appropriate priority and severity. Lead and execute rigorous testing cycles for product and platform releases. Define effective test coverage and testing strategies for supported applications. Collaborate with distributed engineering teams (on‑site and offshore) to ensure consistent testing execution. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other test engineers, including guidance on automation standards and best practices. Required Skills & Experience Must Have Strong Java coding experience with a focus on test automation. Hands‑on functional and end‑to‑end testing experience across OTT and Connected TV platforms. 3+ years of experience testing OTT platforms (preferably embedded applications on CTVs). 3+ years of experience as a Test Engineer within an Agile environment. 3+ years of hands‑on experience developing automated functional tests. 3+ years of experience in a functional testing role. 2+ years of experience leading testing activities or projects. Experience mentoring engineers and leading testing efforts across distributed teams. Proven ability to lead projects with minimal supervision. Nice to Have Experience with video content delivery platforms. Exposure to Agile management tools such as Jira. Experience with test management tools such as TestRail. Familiarity with unified or enterprise‑scale test automation frameworks.
