Position We are currently seeking an Senior AI Architect to work remotely in Mexico with one of our main clients. Technical Skills Minimum of 12+ years of programming experience, with at least 3+ years focused on creating and managing scalable AI solutions and 5+ years architecting cloud-native applications. Generative AI Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with generative AI frameworks like LlamaIndex, Langchain and a variety of LLMs from OpenAI, Google, or open-source alternatives (e.g., Llama, Claude, Hugging Face). AI/ML Foundations: Strong proficiency in Python and SQL. Deep understanding of neural network architectures (Transformers, GANs) and experience using AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras for designing, training, and validating models. Scalable Data Systems: Proven experience architecting solutions with multiple vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Qdrant, Milvus, PGVector) and proficiency with diverse data storage systems, including RDBMS and NoSQL. Cloud & MLOps: Expertise in utilizing a major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) for developing cloud-native solutions. Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD solutions in the context of MLOps/LLMOps, including automation with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep). Understanding of financial regulations impacting AI (FRTB, SR11-7, Basel III, GDPR). Good To Have Skill Experience in deploying ML models using both native infrastructure (e.g., Azure DevOps) and third-party MLOps platforms. Experience working in Banking & Financial Services domain (retail, lending, trading, compliance, etc) Hands-on experience building and deploying autonomous AI agents with any of the agentic AI frameworks Knowledge of designing and explaining complex data pipelines, ML pipelines, and ML training/serving methodologies. Awareness of AI standards and experience with assessing and mitigating technology risks. Daily Activities Architecting Enterprise AI Platforms: Proven experience architecting and delivering end-to-end, scalable Generative AI platforms within complex, multi-model and multi-vector database environments. Solving Scalability Challenges: Demonstrated experience engineering high-throughput data ingestion and embedding pipelines, solving critical challenges in scalability and lifecycle management to avoid costly embedding re-rendering. Building Reusable Frameworks: Experience building and standardizing reusable AI frameworks (leveraging tools like LlamaIndex/LangChain) to accelerate the development of advanced RAG, semantic search, and complex agentic systems. From Concept to Production: A history of translating cutting-edge AI research and ambiguous business requirements into tangible applications—from rapid prototyping to deploying production-grade, scalable APIs. Operationalizing AI at Scale: Experience leading the operationalization of AI, including the deployment, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and monitoring of LLM-based agents in production cloud environments. Implementing Production-Grade Guardrails: Expertise in implementing and enforcing robust AI security, including developing production-grade guardrails to ensure model safety, ethical compliance, and reliability. Shape AI use cases across lines of business: consumer banking, corporate banking, payments & cards, investment banking Soft Skills Systems thinking and solution-oriented mindset. Effective communication with both technical and non-technical teams. Strong documentation and organizational skills. Ability to work autonomously and proactively.
