Location: Huejotzingo, Puebla (OMI) | Job Type: Full-timeOMI is a technology-driven company that designs and manufactures electrical, mechanical, and computing solutions.We specialize in custom electric motors and electro-mechanical systems for industries such as automotive, medical devices, oil & gas, marine, and agriculture.Position OverviewWe are looking for a Metrology Engineer who will manage the measurement laboratory and perform product-related measurement activities that support quality, validation, and engineering development.This role is essential to ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and traceability of all measurement equipment and studies, while overseeing calibration, MSA, incoming inspection, and the quarantine area.If you enjoy precision work, metrology, dimensional analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional technical teams, this position will allow you to grow within an international and fast-evolving environment.ResponsibilitiesConduct dimensional studies required by engineering, production, and quality.Execute incoming inspection, including management of the quarantine area.Manage daily operations of the measurement laboratory, ensuring compliance and documentation accuracy.Coordinate MSA studies (Measurement System Analysis).Lead and control the calibration and verification of measurement equipment internally and with accredited laboratories.Administer the master calibration plan and ensure 100% traceability of records.Analyze deviations, trends, and performance of measurement instruments.Maintain and safeguard reference standards.Support internal and external audits related to metrology.Prepare and maintain laboratory documentation, including work instructions and the quality manual.Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, customer requirements, and quality management systems.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering (Metrology, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or related fields).1–3 years of experience in metrology, dimensional measurement, or quality systems.Knowledge inDimensional measurement techniquesCalibration and verification processesISO and ISO/IEC complianceMeasurement uncertainty and statistical analysisGD&T interpretationIncoming inspection processesMSA (Measurement System Analysis)Use and management of measurement equipment: dimensional, electrical, torque, pressure, temperatureMetrology or inspection software (preferred)Intermediate English (ability to read technical documents, drawings, and instructions).Certifications such as GD&T, internal auditor, or Core Tools are a plus.Key CompetenciesResponsibility and initiativeEffective communicationPlanning and organizationAttention to detail and analytical thinkingAdaptability to changeTeamwork and integrityResults orientationPerseverance and accountabilityWe offer the opportunity to join a growing company with an international footprint, gain exposure to new product launches, support advanced measurement processes, and strengthen the organization's culture of quality and continuous improvement.You'll develop specialized expertise while directly impacting product reliability and daily operations.This role operates under a 48-hour weekly schedule from Monday to Saturday, in accordance with applicable labor regulations.Due to the operational nature of the position, occasional support during holidays may be required.Any work performed on such days is compensated strictly under the guidelines established by the Federal Labor Law.#J-*****-Ljbffr
