About the role To support our ambitious growth objectives, we are seeking an experienced Sales Manager for Latin America to drive business growth in Central and South America by developing new customer relationships, maintaining, and expanding existing accounts, supporting partners, and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Prospecting (50%) Identify, analyze, qualify, and secure new customers (distributors) and business opportunities across Central and South America. Develop and implement regional sales strategies to expand our market share in the automotive aftermarket. Conduct regular prospecting activities and maintain a robust sales pipeline Account Management & Customer Relationship Development (30%) Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers. Identify opportunities to grow business with current accounts through upselling and cross-selling. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Collaborate closely with the Mexican distributor, based in Mexico City, to ensure strong partnership and performance Provide product training, support, and guidance to distributor team Marketing, Trade Shows & Industry Events Represent the company at regional and international trade shows and exhibitions (e.g., INA PAACE Automechanika Mexico, RUJAC Mexico, AAPEX Las Vegas). Support customers and distributors during events and ensure strong brand visibility. Network with industry professionals to identify new business opportunities. Collaborate with Belgian marketing team concerning customer events and marketing materials. Reporting and administration Forecast and follow up on future sales figures Keep customer data up to date in CRM system. ... Travel Frequent travel within Central and South America for customer visits, trade shows, and prospecting. Occasional travel to Belgium (HQ). Qualifications & Skills Language: Native Spanish speaker with excellent English proficiency (written and spoken). Experience: At least some relevant years of experience in an autonomous business development role. Preferably you own a proven track record within sales in the automotive aftermarket. (Knowledge of steering and suspension components would be a definite plus). However, we are open to experienced sales managers with a genuine interest in the automotive sector, strong willingness to learn and a proactive, results-driven attitude. Location: Residing in Mexico (Mexico-City preferred). Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
