Let’s shape progress together.**About the Role:**We are seeking a talented and collaborative **Software Engineer II** - **Python** to join our Shadow Health development team in Mexico City. You will contribute to building and enhancing web services and applications that support healthcare education through simulation-based learning.**Responsibilities:*** Work with the Tech Lead to solve moderate complexity software engineering problems* Build new features and improve existing ones for our Learning Management System* Review code from other engineers and provide constructive feedback* Complete simple bug fixes* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery* All other duties as assigned**Requirements:*** 3+ years of Software Engineering experience* 3+ years of Python web development* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent* Ruby web development is a plus* Experienced in TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, React, and SQL* Ability to work with simple data models* Familiarity with agile software development methodologies* Knowledge of test-driven development* Daily use of industry best practices such as code coverage**Work in a Way That Works for You:**We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
