Commissioning Isolation Specialist

**COMMISSIONING ISOLATION SPECIALIST (ELECTRICAL)** required by our Client, an Oil and Gas Operator, to be assigned on a Contract basis, located in Ensenada, Mexico.**DURATION** **12 months on-going****POSITION SCOPE**The Isolation Specialist is primarily responsible for the oversight of the isolation for safe work that is implemented for work in new and existing facilities.This role will liaison between E&C, Operations, and Contractor to ensure isolation is performed adequately and in accordance with project and industry requirements.This position will assist with construction, (pre )commissioning and start-up activities**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES**- Shall be familiar with Operations and LOTO process- Responsible for following the oversight of the isolation for safe work- Ensure isolation in the field is properly administered and controlled- Attend planning and SIMOPS meetings and provide feedback to the team and management on isolation management status- Ensure a tracking mechanism is in place to monitor the isolation status- Be capable of reading and interpreting project drawings to ensure proper isolation has been implemented- Will have to be capable of working days or nights depending on project requirements- Perform other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties)- Have an excellent verbal and written communication skills
