We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon.As a **BPA Corporate Functions Sr Analyst** supporting the **Corporate Functions and Ops Team**, you will be responsible for supporting the direct financial planning for the Legal & Compliance and HR/Comms organizations. The scope of this position includes monthly financial planning & analysis, support for month-end close activities, business partnering with Legal & Compliance and HR/Comms leaders and PMOs, and facilitating the different planning cycles (Target, QBR, forecast and Strategic Plan)**In this role, a typical day will include:*** Support month-end close activities, including accruals, prepaids and legal matter reporting with no major accounting issues and adherence to month end close timelines.* Partner with Legal & Compliance and HR/Comms leaders and PMOs to support legal matter tracking, PO and IO spend monitoring and advise business on finance processes and accounting guidelines to ensure correct reporting.* Support the different planning cycles (Target, QBR, forecast and Strategic Plan) through data analysis, slide development and reports to drive business and financial decisions.* Drive continuous process improvement and automation to ensure team efficiency, develop or improve financial reports and process into the area.* Support the Director BPA, Corporate Functions in deliverables, including template design, ad-hoc analysis, etc.**WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:*** Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related analytical discipline.* At least 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) roles.* Exceptional numerical and analytical abilities, capable of using data tools to drive decision-making and managing large pools of data in Excel.* Proactive, enthusiastic, and curious with a solid ability to think creatively and develop new solutions.* Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and work in high pressure situations.* Knowledge of SAP, BI, Power Point tools.
