Supplier Quality Engineer Specialist Ch/Pt/Biw

**Aufgaben**:- Exterior Supplier Quality Engineer Specialist- Main Objectives:- Responsible for quality of purchased parts of certain commodities, with supplier locations mainly in Mexico as well as potentially whole NAFTA and some Latin America countries.- Evaluate new potential suppliers (Potential Analysis according VDA6.3).Perform preventive quality activities to guarantee the maturity level of supplied parts, such as VDA RGA, Process Audits according VDA, PPAR sampling, technical audits (TRL), maturity level validation, reviews/visits etc.- Monitor supplier performance during series production to ensure requested parts quality, conduct reactive or trouble-shooting activities as required, as well as follow- up of requalification.- In general, ensure ramp up of new plant in Aguascalientes on supplier side, regarding quality topics of purchased parts.Main:- Plan and perform supplier visits and audits:a) Potential Analysis per VDA6.3.-b) Supplier set evaluations.-c) Process audits per VDA.-d) Process release.-e) PFMEA review.-f) Trouble-shooting, i.e. Dritteingriffe.-g) Maturity level verification visits.-h) Technical supplier audits (TRL).-i) Support Logistics audits.-j) Follow up visits.- Parts release, supplier management and follow-up activities:a) PPAR and sampling activities.-b) Follow up action plan completion.-c) Monitor supplier fullfilment to MDS and MB requirements.- Keep VUs / parts on track regarding Mercedes-Benz internal documentation and reporting requirements: Q-activities and results in Einstein, dates in START, sampling process in SQMS etc., establish IB4Qs and supporting presentations.Crossfunctional coordination in order to ensure Mercedes Benz/Joint Venture Plant/PG CC requirements.- Support other Mercedes-Benz Quality departments regarding exported purchased parts quality from Mexican supplier locations.General supplier management from Quality point of view.- Perform necessary activities within the organization to contribute to obtaining or maintaining quality, environmental, fiscal, IT, or any other certifications.Must respect the information confidentiality and contribute to good performance of the company and its employees.Must respect current local and international laws and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOA), Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Antitrust, as well as all Mercedes-Benz regulations.**Qualifikationen**:- Qualifications- 1. Education:- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering or related technical area, Master Degree preferred.- 2. Language(s):- Bilingual Spanish + English (Native or business fluent); German (colloquial).- 3. Work Experience:- Minimum of 5 years in quality/engineering activities in the automotive industry (or comparable) out of which at least 4 years were spent with supplier management/development activities, performing supplier audits, or process quality/engineering.International experience preferred.- 4. Technical Knowledge:- In depth automotive product and production process knowledge in one or several commodities.VDA Lead Auditor preferred.- 5.
