Host City ManagerApplication Deadline: 22 December ****Department: Commercial & MarketingEmployment Type: Fixed Term - Full TimeLocation: MonterreyDescriptionWe govern the beautiful game and ensure it's run with transparency and integrity.At FIFA26, our vision is to unite the world through the greatest sporting event of all time.The FIFA World Cup 26TM will mark the first time that the tournament will feature 48 teams and be hosted by three countries: Canada, Mexico and the USA.This new format will redefine excellence, generating unique opportunities for greater participation and engagement among fans and players across North America and all over the world.Now is your time to become a game changer and join the workforce that will plan and deliver this extraordinary and unforgettable experience.THE POSITIONReporting to the Chief Tournament Officer, the Host City Manager will be a key member of the FIFA World Cup 26TM local team.This role will lead the coordination and delivery of Host City obligations, ensuring operational excellence and stakeholder alignment across all phases of the tournament.These are your key tasks:Oversee planning and execution of Host City contractual obligations (e.G., Host City Agreement, Stadium Agreement, Fan Festival, etc.).Coordinate across FIFA26 departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of services and facilities.Develop dashboards, timelines, and reporting tools to monitor progress and escalating risks.Prepare executive-level briefings and updates for FIFA, Host City Committee, and partners.Lead site visits, readiness exercises, and simulations in collaboration with functional areas.Serve as on-site support during tournament time, managing logistics and command center operations.Foster strong relationships with local authorities, venue operators, and community partners.Organize and lead host city tours for VIPs, FIFA staff, and stakeholders.YOUR PROFILEWe work hard at FIFA.We are dedicated, ambitious and innovative.And we respect our values.Always.For all roles, we seek talented people with an entrepreneurial spirit and a global mindset.The specific competencies we require for this position are:Bachelor's degree or similar higher education in Business Administration, Sport Administration, Marketing, etc.Fluent in Spanish and English5–10 years of experience in project management, event operations, or large-scale, sports/entertainment events.Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Experience working with government entities and international organizations.Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments.We will only consider CVs submitted in English.#J-*****-Ljbffr
