**_Welcome to Warner Bros.Discoverythe stuff dreams are made of._****Who We Are **When we say, "the stuff dreams are made of," we're not just referring to the world of wizards, dragons and superheroes, or even to the wonders of Planet Earth.Behind WBD's vast portfolio of iconic content and beloved brands, are the _storytellers_ bringing our characters to life, the_ creators_ bringing them to your living rooms and the _dreamers_ creating what's nextFrom brilliant creatives, to technology trailblazers, across the globe, WBD offers career defining opportunities, thoughtfully curated benefits, and the tools to explore and grow into your best selves.Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.**General summary**As the Networks OPEX FP&A Analyst, you work within the Global OPEX COE which offers you a great opportunity to participate in the overall finance transformation roadmap setting standards for the financial processes related to Networks OPEX.Your main responsibility is to ensure proactive and timely high quality forecasting, reporting and analysis in the US Networks OPEX spend including production, marketing, research expenses and supporting the business partners in decision making.**Key responsibilities**- Supporting the month end close process from an FP&A perspective with variance analysis focusing on cost P&L- Performing detailed reviews of actual spend with finance business partners and budget holders- Summarizing key findings to support discussions and decision making with the business- Assisting in the production of the monthly cost forecast submission and updating of related systems- Supporting the annual budget process, including the design of templates and the critical review of planning assumptions- Supporting the financial review of key initiatives focused on driving business performance, including the creation and analysis of business cases- Developing actionable insights which aim to improve business unit / regional profitability- Providing insight of financial performance through accurate, timely and relevant reporting- Interpretation and clear communication of results, reports and analysis- Continuous review and improvement of management information- Raising queries to FP&A colleagues based on analysis and insights into Management Information- Performing ad hoc tasks and reporting related to cost management and governance meetings as appropriate- Maintaining and improving the processes supporting financial planning and analysis activities**Requirements**:2+ years of working experience preferably with experience in FP&A departmentCIMA/ACCA qualified or education in progress desiredSolid understanding of forecasting and budgeting processGeneral accounting knowledgeStrong MS Excel & PowerPoint skillsAssured self-starter on relevant projects and work is a plusStrong oral and written English communication skillsExcellent analytical skillsPro-active and hands-onHigh drive and energy levelYour way of working is characterized by a high level of accuracyFluent in EnglishStrong IT affinity to drive required digital agenda in FP&A (EPM ie.
