Key Responsibilities Work in close partnership with an agile development team to create, analyze project / product requirements in support of meeting product roadmap commitments Work effectively with the product manager, agile development team, and other stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment Help write comprehensive user stories that define the scope of the deliverable and ensure they are accurately defined and understood by the development team. This includes Help Define acceptance criteria and validating the developed solution for the sprint user story, in alignment with the expectations of the product manager's vision and epic level user story On the direction of the Product Manager, communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to determine the "how" of a solution from a functional user perspective (i.e. analyze information needs and functional requirements while delivering the following artifacts as needed; use cases, storyboards / wireframes, test scenarios, etc. Typically answers "what internal business challenges will we face for this project, what technical restraints do we have, what risks are known, what actions items could lead to successful creation of a solution?" Review designs, test software changes, write documentation, support end users Liaison with user experience team to develop wireframes and comps for scrum team to guide development Validate solution and provides information to the documentation writers Serve as Tier 2 and higher support when neededEscalate issues to the agile development team for investigation Participate in functional testing to ensure / validate requirement is met with delivered software Aid in estimating work effort and help manage work to meet the project schedules Adhere to process, tools, and standards within the development team Track metrics for the agile development team Seek ways to incorporate new / creative ideas and methodologies by keeping abreast of current technologies and tools Assist with usability testing with customers Demonstrate an understanding of business and technical requirements related to each project Support development partner groups and beta groups for the scrum team Perform user, regulatory, competitive and business domain research Work with product team to defects and enhancement requests Possess expert JIRA Skills Assist with the creation of slide decks for sprint demos Requirements Highly motivated self-starter with capability to quickly learn, and work with new technologies and multiple technical environments, including databases and operating systems Display initiative and troubleshooting skills in business area Ability to work independently, as well as on teams, with moderate supervision Keep stakeholders informed of progress toward goals in an agile development environment Ability to demonstrate strong teamwork relationships Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal - ability to present analytical information to most audiences both internally and externally Experience in writing user stories Background as a Business Analyst in software development for enterprise class solutions Able to learn business processes efficiently Strong knowledge of business area of the development team Desired Skills Experience working in Higher Education Experience in Agile software development practices such as Scrum, XP, Lean Agile, and Kanban Flexibility, responsiveness, creativity, innovative thinking, acceptance of change, and excellent communication skills Experience using Agile project management software (JIRA, AgileZen, etc.,) Working knowledge of usability standards and best practices Experience with UI and user centric design Knowledge of cloud technologies, SQL, REST / JSON, business processes, and systems workflow documentation Additional Information Req ID : Hiring Type : Full - Time Level of Experience : Senior Level Remote : Yes Travel Required : 0%-25% #J-18808-Ljbffr
