**Date**:Apr 28, ******Location**: Tijuana, Mexico, Mexico, *******Company**:Belden, Inc**Belong.Believe.Be You.Belden.**Propel your career surrounded by a diverse team of innovative, goal-oriented individuals who are pursuing the next generation of connectivity solutions.At Belden, you'll participate in work that will challenge you and position you to excel.You'll collaborate with colleagues from around the world, gaining exposure to a broad base of expertise and perspectives.Together, we'll continue on a journey of innovation, creating a connected world and paving the way for automation.Join us and let's build the future.**Job Summary**:As Product Industrialization Engineer, you are the representative of product industrialization in multi-disciplinary teams ensuring best in class transition from development to manufacturing across our North American manufacturing facilities.#To Work on Manufacturing Transfer as well as New Product Introduction Projects#To drive cross-functional collaboration between product development, supply chain, manufacturing, and external suppliers to ensure alignment of requirements of new products#To develop and improve processes, tools and equipment of the Manufacturing systems leading to predictable, reliable, stable and efficient production processes for new product introductions.#Support Quality,Production and Maintenance to create procedures, methods and specifications where Engineering support is required.**Responsibilities**:**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Core)**:##Ensure adherence to the applicable development process for product introductions, qualifications and release ##Are accountable for validating the process and equipment capability meets requirements identified during the Development stage##To do feasibility analysis for making the product in terms of cost, material availability, technology availability and lead time##To prepare the Bill of Materials for the product and source the materials from the existing/new vendors or internal suppliers##Are accountable for establishing Inspection and Test Criteriafor new components and assemblies.##Monitor manufacturing & ramp up at the site to targeted yields, capacity and solve performance attributes as directed by Mfg.##Build presentations to effectively communicate progress and results in reference to Industrialization initiatives.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Support to Manufacturing & Supply Chain)**:##You will work with Manufacturing to develop or improve processes, tools and equipment of the Manufacturing systems, leading to predictable, reliable, stable and efficient production processes for new and existing product introductions.##Be a key player in the definition of machines, tooling, and inspection equipment to industrialize the most suitable process with the goal to meet all product specifications.##To develop and train operations on the process as needed##Work with Supply Chain team to evaluate supplier capabilities with the goal of selecting the most suitable supplier and proactively manage supplier risk.Uncovers and evaluates supply opportunities for new and existing technologies.##Assist with cross plant inventory and purchasing tasks and ensure complete inventories are available for qualification and pre-production runs##Benchmarks best practices of processing methodologies, analytical tools, manufacturing technology and equipment in each facility; supports implementation of roadmap in facilities in advisory role.**Required Skills and Experience**#Minimum of a bachelor#s degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering.Mechanics or Materials specialization##Strong knowledge of small parts fabrication and assembly processes ##Minimum of 7 Years experience associated with manufacturing environments, new product/process industrialization and implementation.##Project management experience.##Familiarity with Solid Works, or similar 3D modeling software##Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel##Hands on Experience with Root Cause Analysis, Failure Mode Avoidance and Process Controls DFM##Strong personal & communication skills in English.Dual language Spanish preferred.##Expected domestic and international travel *****%##Position should be on site 5 days per week.**Let's Write the Next 100 Years Together.**Join a global community striving to improve connectivity and security.The work we're doing puts our people on the front lines of impacting lives and shaping the future.Propel your story of innovation by helping Belden write the next chapter in ours.Shape your future at Belden.These statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work involved for this job.It is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of this job.
