This role requires strong technical expertise, ownership of architectural decisions, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior engineers and elevating engineering best practices across the team.What You Will Be DoingDevelop high-quality applications that deliver a seamless and delightful user experienceHelp define and evolve the technical architecture of the productWrite clean, reusable, well-structured, and maintainable code following best practicesBuild elegant, responsive, high-performance, cross-platform solutionsDevelop, debug, and enhance software components and internal toolsCreate automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests to support CI pipelinesSupport and troubleshoot data and system-related issues as neededActively participate in code reviews and design discussionsCollaborate on user story creation and technical refinementBuild prototypes and validate ideas using a data-driven approachMentor junior engineers and contribute to improving design methodologies and coding standardsProactively identify risks, prevent roadblocks, and communicate technical impacts to leadershipRequired Qualifications🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience🗣️ English proficiency is a MUST (written and spoken)💬 Strong communication and collaboration skills🧠 Strong logical and analytical thinking skills🧩 5+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering🧑 💻 Strong hands-on experience with PHP☁️ Solid understanding of AWS🗄️ Experience with databases such as Amazon Aurora, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2, or MS SQL🔧 Experience using version control systems such as Git🔁 Experience working under Agile development methodologies🧪 Experience with Unit Testing frameworks🔗 Practical experience building and integrating RESTful APIsNice to Have🌱 Experience with Laravel and/or CodeIgniter⚛️ Practical experience with React🧩 Familiarity with DDD, TDD, and BDD methodologies🌐 Experience working with REST Web Services🌎 100% Remote position (candidates must be based in Latin America)🏖️ 15 days of Paid Time Off (PTO)📚 Annual Pluralsight membership for continuous learningSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting, Software Development, and IT System Custom Software Development #J-18808-Ljbffr
