Coordinate procurement and distribution of tools, equipment, consumables, and miscellaneous supplies for the facility.**Specific duties include**:PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES- Maintains accurate inventory of all standard tooling used in the manufacturing and assures timely replenishments to avoid shortages.- With assistance from engineering, determines tooling requirements for all non-standard and development jobs.- Consults catalogues and corresponds with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications.- Completes purchase requisitions, obtains signatures as appropriate, and assigns purchase order numbers.- Enters purchase orders into computer system and distributes output to appropriate departments.- Manages purchase order file to include records of items purchased with prices, deliveries, and inventories.- Uses KBM system to issue purchase orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents.- Receives and restocks usable tools at the completion of the work order.- Communicates changes, updates, and/or late shipments to the appropriate requisitioner.- Receives, unpacks, and properly stores incoming consumable tooling and requisitions stock to replenishinventory.- Consults appropriate engineering and production managers on reuse of toolingQUALIFICATIONS/ KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE(TECHNICAL/ PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS COMPETENCY)- Buyer/Planner certificate or equivalent from college or technical school (Prefered).- 3-5 years of manufacturing experience with the focus on purchasing and ordering supplies.- Ability to occasionally lift ******* pounds.- Employee stand, sit, and walk frequently- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environmentPERSONAL SKILLS & KEY COMPETENCIES- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)- Robust data analysis skills (Desirable)- Proven Advanced englishability to professionally communicate with all levels of the organization as well as external clients and contacts- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Ability to work independently with strong decision-making skills- Advanced english.
